In the mansion, a robbery has taken place. Three suspects were present at the scene during the crime: Alex, Brooke, and Chris. 

Detective Mehul personally interrogated all three of them

Alex:       "I was in the mansion's garden, admiring the flowers. I had nothing to do with the robbery."

Brooke:  "I was in the study, looking for a book to read. I heard a loud crash but was too scared to investigate."

Chris:     "I was in the living room, playing the piano for everyone. The diamond has nothing to do with me."
